I am determined to get rid of the wasp nest. Apparently they hate the smell of peppermint oil, sliced cucumber, white vinegar, crushed bay leaves cloves and crushed lemon grass. So, after hubby treated me to a nice alfresco breakfast at the cafe in broadfield off we went to buy the smelly stuff. I forgot the cloves. I went to see my neighbour annette (who you knew as a lad Adrian Vygus ) to see if she wanted to swap some lemon grass for some cloves. She said "I have just the thing" and lent me a fake wasp nest. We'll see what the little buggers think of that! On the tissues are peppermint oil and vinegar. Xx
