Tilgate Park Nature Centre, Crawley, West Sussex

Post by Nevis » Thu Feb 06, 2014 10:49 pm

Tilgate Park Nature Centre is in the middle of a furious debate. Some people have applied for it to be privatised. The residents of Crawley however, want it to stay the same as it's always been. If it is privatised, it is likely that the entrance fee (£1 'suggested' donation) will go up.
There are a lot of animals to feed, and they need the money. So if we all make an effort to visit the park with our families on a regular basis (and pay a £1 each to visit the Nature Centre) then there will be no need to accept privatisation (which will mean an entrance fee of at least £2.50 a person). Just pack up some sandwiches and a bottle of pop and just go. What else can you buy for a quid? :scarf :thumbsup
