Crawley play Swindon in the FA Cup this Friday at Broadfield. A ticket sell-out seems likely!

They go into this "David vs Goliath" match bolstered with confidence after their total annihilation of league-bottom Altrincham on Saturday. Crawley 7 Altrincham 0

That result put them rightly back at the top of the table, for a day. On Sunday arch-rivals Wimbledon beat Kettering and go one point clear for now. Crawley have a game in hand though.

Crawley came back from behind and got a draw. Crawley 1 - Swindon 1 in the FA Cup.

So a replay away at Swindon is the reward. This takes place on Tues. 7 Dec. The winner will play big club Derby County at home.

I still think Crawley can pull this off! Crawley could get promoted and Swindon could be relegated at the end of the season. This would leave them playing in the same league next year! The 1-1 result backs this up. An away giant-killing result could happen!

Meanwhile in the League, Crawley are second with a game in hand and only one point adrift.

Crawley play away this Tues at Bath whilst Wimbledon have to face Luton. One or either of Crawley's main opponents will lose out on points here :P

A Crawley win at Bath would be the icing on the cake!

I will look and see if the mz can place a footie punt on good ol Crawley town.
How about a forecast for our weekly barclays premier ten punt....
We need to predict all ten matches to get a pay out.
The highest number of predictions achieved so far is seven
Go on give it a go
Happy days

Swindon 2 - Crawley Town 3 :D :D :D

Crawley left it until 2 minutes from the end of extra time, but they did it!!

Crawley play Derby County at The Broadfield on the 8th Jan 2011 in the third round. In their present form, Crawley could do it! What a match this is going to be.

Nothing has changed in the league with all recent matches postponed due to the weather.

This Saturday Crawley face Dartford in the FA Trophy. Dartford are a league below but will be looking for a scalp here. A tough game for Crawley methinks.

Lol :D

Steve Evans is really talking-up Crawley's chances against Derby, but he is quite respectful of Dartford. As you would expect...

Realistically, Crawley's best hopes for a Wembley appearance lie with the FA Trophy but if this fairy-tale continues who knows what could happen.

Nigel Clough and Derby County are going to be rightly respectful of Crawley.

Who needs the Premiership when all this action is taking place on our doorstep!
