Thankyou To GIAI for comments. Racing Punters who used to make a living out of Racing are pretty well long gone. The Few who claim to Live on there Winnings would need more than luck nowadays. It is more an investment Full of Risk today. Years ago many would bet in what they would call Buying money.They would back a horse at odds like 4/9.They would risk £9000 to win £13000.The ordinary everyday punter can't win money with these prices unless they back six or more in an Accumulator.In those days Hot Pot Favourites were winning like 8/10. Today you would be hopeful to see 5/10. Punters like Football Fans do have there favourites. Trainers or jockeys.The Actual figures i put down were from The Sun Newspaper today 27/09/11. If you put a £1 on each of there horses that had raced this season,these figures would be where you were at. Very Poor i suggest. MY ADVICE IS HAVE A LITTLE PUNT AS LONG AS YOU CAN AFFORD IT.
