YES I TOLD YOU IN MAY when he won the GUINEAS that he would win the DERBY and C A M E L O T did just that in fine style.
He came with his challenge 3 furlongs from the finish and from that point onwards the race was WON as he galloped 5 LENGTHS clear for an EASY VICTORY.
THE TRAINER from Ireland Aiden O'Brien has won 4 out of 4 classics since MAY. They are the 1,000 / 2,000 guineas / The OAKS (YESTERDAY) / the DERBY.
HISTORY WAS ALSO MADE AS THE WINNER OF THE DERBY WAS RIDDEN BY HIS 19YR OLD SON JOSEPH. This combination a 1st.
well---WHAT NEXT? well-----JULY and ROYAL ASCOT will see the UNBEATEN 2 HORSES the AUSTRALIAN STAR of 21 successive victories BLACK CAVIAR
and OUR OWN UNBEATEN CHAMPION FRANKEL..They will be running in different races as one is a 6 furlong specialist (Black Caviar) and Frankel is more a Miler.
I DON'T THINK EITHER OF THESE TWO GREAT HORSES WILL EVER BE BEATEN...
NOW YOU CAN ADD CAMELOT TO THAT STATEMENT.
